Malaga Wine Tours

MALAGA
MORE THAN JUST PEDRO

Malaga has long been famous for its tradition of sweet wine and sherry, made from Moscatel and Pedro Ximenez varieties. However, the region is under a revival thanks to the introduction of many more sophisticated red and white wines as well!

Join us on a wine tour to two cellars of the Malaga wine region. Discover some of the finest award-winning sweet, sherry, red and white wines accompanied by Andalucian tapas. Depending on your available time, the tastings can also be followed by an optional traditional lunch at one of the wine cellars.

Perhaps the most famed wine is traditional Pedro Ximemenz (or “P.X.”), and it is also creeping onto all the “A-list restaurant” wine lists across continents from London to Sydney. Discover Pedro's small village home roots at cellars across Málaga, with the best examples of PX not only displaying intense ultra-sweet aromas but also balancing flavours of chocolate, coffee and spices. Young PX can be a liquid bonbon, full of sticky sweetness, excellent with pure chocolate desserts, crepes or spicy cheese.
