Málaga is the historic provincial capital of Andalusia and has a typical Mediterranean climate, and is also known as the birthplace of famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.
The city offers beaches, hiking, architectural sites, art museums, excellent shopping and cuisine. The older rundown port has also been fully redeveloped and modernised and cruise passengers are delighted by genuinely interesting historical and cultural attractions in its old city, as well as it’s beautiful coastal settings.
Our Malaga shore excursion has been esecially designed for cruise passengers with pickup directly from the Malaga Pier Terminal. Join us us on a wine tour to various cellars of the Malaga wine region, not too far from the city centre and discover some of the finest award-winning sweet, sherry as well as red and white wines accompanied by Andalucian tapas.
Depending on the time available, you can end your tour with a traditional Spanish lunch, or even add some quick sightseeing to your itinerary before returnign to your ship.

The half-day wine tasting tour visits some of the oldest family cellars in Málaga tasting red, white and traditional sweet Málaga wines, accompanied by delicious Andalucian tapas.
For small private groups of 5 or more people we can include a Nerja Caves visit of around 2-3 hours, which are not far from some of the wine cellars we visit.
